Let me explain GOB. GOB stands for glue on board, which is a recently popular technology to protect SMDs by pouring some kind of glue on the PCB board to form a certain barrier for the SMDs. The glue is transparent and will not affect the light emission of the SMDs. I accidentally dropped a few LED panels (tell me I'm not the only one who has encountered this situation!) Fortunately, they are GOB modules, and guess what, after testing, these panels are intact and as good as ever. In addition to the ultimate protection of glue, another advantage of GOB is that it makes the surface cleaning easier, just wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Many people may worry about how to repair damaged SMDs? What I want to say is that this is not a deep science, and technicians can do it easily like repairing other SMDs, just dig holes and pour glue. GOB is very suitable for star lights with a pitch of about 1.5mm or more.
